<\/i><\/i><\/span>Challenges<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

The amount of water leakage of more than 1500 liters per day has been the main challenge of Ghadir Garden pool officials in recent years.\u00a0In recent years, a series of modification measures have been taken to eliminate the leakage, none of which has been effective for more than a few months.\u00a0On the other hand, the presence of moisture and corrosive chemicals in the environment caused damage to the concrete slab where people stood, which could lead to financial loss or casualty.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/i><\/i><\/span>Solutions<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>
\n

This project was designed and executed by Kooshe Sazan Mana Company. Initially, the research phase of the project was performed by doing destructive and non-destructive experiments on the pool and around this complex and modeling the structures. Then, the problems were classified, the cause of their occurrence was identified and a corrective solution was proposed for each of them based on their priority. The proposed plan included FRP retrofitting by the EBROG method, injection into concrete, rebar planting, grouting, water stopper installation, and the use of a two-part sealant. Due to the impossibility of stopping the operation of the complex due to the sale of pool tickets for the next several months, the executive phase was possible only during the Nowruz holiday. For this purpose, with a coherent and intensive time planning, finally, the whole process of repairing, strengthening and sealing, and repairing the joinery of this complex was done in a limited period of the Nowruz holiday<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/i><\/i><\/span>Results<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

After performing intensive activities on several work fronts and in three shifts, finally, the complex was prepared on April 5, 2018, and handed over to the Maidin Organization for use. In order to carry out the executive phase of this project, a total of 2800 people-hours of skilled labor, 600 people-hours of expert labor, and 400 people-hours of master labor were employed. After more than a year since the project, the leakage has not occurred and the complex is being serviced without any problems with a reconstruction cost equivalent to one-third of the cost of demolition and construction<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
