<\/i><\/i><\/span>Challenges<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

Prior to this project and 4 years after the construction of the pure water tank, there was a problem of severe water leakage from the sidewalls and horizontal surfaces around the tank.\u00a0The time from the start of the design phase to the shutdown of the tank periods was very limited.\u00a0So, all the final design process, including visits, review of plans, structural and environmental analysis, and providing of plots and documents of the implementation phase was done in a total of three weeks.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/i><\/i><\/span>Solutions<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>
\n

Eight options were introduced to create a sealing cover for the inside of the tank.\u00a0Out of these eight options, bitumen coating, epoxy sealing coating, and polyurethane coating were eliminated due to some reasons. Among the remaining options, geomembrane coating was selected as the final choice for tank sealing.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/i><\/i><\/span>Results<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

The repair and sealing schedule of the reservoir was designed so that the executive phase of the project could be completed within two weeks of the reservoir shutdown period.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
